DUBAI – Lahore Qalanders won the toss and decided to field against Quetta Gladiators in the 17th match of Pakistan Super Leagues (PSL) in Dubai on Wednesday.
Quetta Gladiators are leading the points table with eight points, having won four of their previous five matches. However, Lahore Qalandars are placed fourth on the points table with four points. They won two and lost three matches out of their five matches.
Umar Akmal of Quetta Gladiators topped the tournament with 200 runs in five matches with two fifties. The second highest scorer is Shane Watson, also from the Gladiators. He has made 186 in five matches with two fifties.
For Lahore Qalandars, the highest scorer is Fakhar Zaman, who made 163 runs with two fifties in five matches.
The highest wicket-takers are pacers Sohail Tanvir for Quetta Gladiators, and Rahat Ali for Lahore Qalandars as both have captured nine wickets each. They have bagged four wickets in an innings for one time each.
