LAHORE -Pakistan Railways Administration has cancelled the Samjhota express train till next order, which was ready to leave for India on Thursday, amid escalating security situation.
According to Railways, the Samjhota train was suspended of their operation by Pakistan authorities in wake of soaring tensions between two countries.

In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson said that the Samjhauta Express will resume its operations as soon as the security situation between the two countries will improve.
The train connecting Lahore in Pakistan and Atari and Delhi city in India was scheduled to depart today (Thursday) at 08:00 am but it was cancelled.
The suspension of the Samjhota Express came a day after Pakistan Air Force (PAF) destroyed two Indian fighter jets in a response to Indian Line of Control (LoC) violation.
